This policy explains what Emergent Voice LLC ("we", "us") collects when you register for or buy one of our programs, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
The short version. We collect your name, your email address and your payment details. We use them to give you access to what you bought and to write to you. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
What we collect
What you give us
- Name and email address, when you register or buy.
- Payment details, entered directly into our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- What you write to us, including emails, questions asked during a session, and anything you submit for a program deliverable such as The One-Page Brand.
What is collected automatically
- Basic usage data from our website: pages viewed, approximate location by country, browser and device type.
- Email engagement: whether an email was opened and which links were clicked.
Live sessions are recorded
Please read this one before joining a call. Our live sessions are recorded, and the recordings are shared with everyone enrolled in that program.
If you turn on your camera, speak, or write in the chat, that becomes part of the recording. If you would rather not appear, keep your camera off and your microphone muted. You can still take part in writing, and you can ask a question in advance by email instead.
Recordings are used to deliver the program to participants. Short excerpts may also be used in our future marketing. If you would rather not appear anywhere, keep your camera off and your microphone muted during live sessions and take part in writing instead.
Why we use it
- To give you access to what you bought, and to send the links, replays and materials.
- To process your payment and issue refunds.
- To send you emails about the program you joined, and about our other programs. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects the access you already paid for.
- To answer you when you write to us.
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages and emails work.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of services to run the business. Each one only receives what it needs:
- Payment processing (Stripe): your name, email and card details.
- Email delivery (Mailchimp): your name and email address.
- Live sessions (Zoom): the name you enter when joining, and the recording.
- Website hosting and analytics (Squarespace and Google).
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as you are a customer or subscriber, and afterwards for as long as we are required to for accounting and tax purposes [CONFIRM: retention period and jurisdiction]. You can ask us to delete your details at any time, subject to those obligations.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can write to us and ask to:
- See what we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your details.
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Stop receiving our emails, which you can also do from any email with one click.
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union, these rights come from the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, and you may also complain to your national data protection authority. If you are in California, you have comparable rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and the right to delete. Cookies
Our pages use cookies to remember your session and to measure, in aggregate, how the pages are used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time; the pages will still work. [CONFIRM: whether a cookie banner is required for UK and EU visitors, and which categories are used]
Children
Our programs are sold to adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will say so on this page and update the date above.
